Clear limits keep the scanner and watermark-removal tool available while we test sustainable ways to expand access.
Removal limits
Free mode provides all six removals immediately, with up to 30,000 characters total in one rolling 24-hour window. The window starts with your first removal request and resets exactly 24 hours later. There is no wait between available removals. The live allowance counter shows used characters, available removals, and the reset time. The detector remains available when the removal allowance has been used.
Why the limits exist
Scanning is handled locally by the application. Removing a watermark uses a single rewrite request so that names, dates, numbers, links, citations, technical facts, and meaning can be preserved. The limit keeps that paid processing available fairly for everyone.
What is coming next
Paid plans are coming soon. We are testing cost and functionality models that can offer higher removal capacity without making the product harder to use. If Anthropic publishes an official Claude detection API that is available for this use, we will evaluate it for integration.

You can keep scanning at any time. Once the 24-hour removal allowance resets, return to the detector and choose Remove Watermark.
