No intentional storage
Claude Watermark Remover does not create accounts or keep a database of submitted text. Scans run locally on the server. A full rewrite is sent to OpenAI only after you select Remove Watermark.
Free usage limit
Each IP address can rewrite up to 5,000 characters during a rolling 15-minute window. The page shows the reset time when the limit is reached.
Operational safeguards
The APIs validate request size, apply character-weighted limits, return safe errors, and do not log submitted text. A multi-instance deployment must use a shared rate-limit store and a trusted hosting proxy for client IP headers.
